This week, Pastor Nathan unfolds Jesus’ prayer in John 17:1–15, where our Lord models deep-rooted faith at the edge of the cross. He lifts His eyes to heaven, defines eternal life as knowing the Father, and finishes the work entrusted to Him (vv.1–4). Drawing lessons from Joseph and Job, Jesus shows that intimacy with God is our source of strength in adversity.
He then teaches us the secret-place practices—giving, praying, fasting in the hidden séter where the Father rewards in private.
